Read Psalms 125-126

Head

I don’t know about you, but I love going to the mountains! When I see a mountain, I always think how strong and vast they are and how they really can’t be moved! In today’s reading, we see that trusting the Lord makes us like a mountain! We can’t be moved when we fully trust Him and His plan for us. God is always there protecting us and keeping us safe. As we read on, we see that the Lord does great things for us. When we see those great things, we are filled with joy!! He turns sadness into joy, too!

Heart

All through scripture, we see how God protects and delivers His people. He does it over and over again, no matter how many times they mess up. He does the same thing for us. He can take the most challenging times and turn them into joy for us!

Hands

Take a minute to think of all the great things God has done for you and your family. Make a list of all those things. It probably won’t take you very long to see just how many great things God has done for you. Take a minute to thank Him for making you strong and steady and for bringing you so much joy!

Prayer: God, thank you! We can’t say thank You enough for all the good things You do for us daily. Help me to always remember where the good comes from and fill me with Your joy so that others can see You in me. Amen.
