June 6-12

This June, rising 9th - graduated 12th graders, leaders, and Venture Students team members will travel to Texas to partner with Mission Arlington to do hands-on mission work. The total cost is $450 and includes transportation, lodging, some meals, additional activities, and two t-shirts. Registration opens Sunday, January 25th!

Relationship-building event for rising 6th graders

Project Genesis is a one-day event strategically designed to help your rising 6th grader build relationships with their peers, upperclassmen, and student ministry leaders to help them feel confident and connected during their first year in Venture's student ministry. Project Genesis will happen at each Venture Church campus, allowing rising 6th graders to get to know their campus student ministry before they join The MVMNT for the first time. Project Genesis will introduce 6th graders to our Venture Student values as they enter into the next step in their journey of faith. 

WHO: Rising 6th graders (entering 6th grade in the 2026-2027 school year)

WHERE: Project Genesis 2026 will take place at your Venture Church campus. Stay tuned for location details.

WHEN: Because Project Genesis happens at each campus, dates and times will vary. Please stay tuned for campus details coming soon!

COST: Registration cost includes activities, t-shirt, meals and materials for the Project Genesis. Register now for the Early Bird price of $40. Registration cost will increase to $50 after May3rd.

Retreat for Rising 7th and 8th graders

Level Up is a one-night event that challenges rising 7th and 8th grade students to take the next step in their faith journey. The weekend will include worship, large group teaching, small groups, and water-front activities. Registration opens Sunday, March 29th!

WHO: Rising 7th and 8th graders (entering 7th and 8th grade in the 2026-2027 school year)

WHERE: Harvest Ministries, a small lake-side retreat center with cabins located just north of Columbia, MS

WHEN: Saturday, July 18- Sunday, July 19. We will check in at Venture Church campuses and return to campuses Sunday morning to worship together. 

COST: Registration cost includes transportation, lodging, meals and materials for the weekend. Register now for the Early Bird price of $90. Registration cost will increase to $100 after May 3rd.

Weekend at the beach to pause and reflect for rising seniors.

The Senior Retreat is a weekend designed to give rising seniors a change to pause, reflect, grow, and prepare as they enter their senior year. We desire to see seniors step into leadership confidently and feel supported by their peers, Venture Student leaders, and church family as they prepare for their final season of high school. 

WHO: Rising 12th graders (entering 12th grade in the 2026-2027 school year)

WHERE: Laguna Beach Christian Retreat in Panama City Beach Florida

WHEN: We will depart from The Lincoln Road Campus on Friday afternoon, July 31st and return on Sunday, August 2nd.

COST: Registration cost includes transportation, lodging, meals and materials for the weekend. Register now for the Early Bird price of $185. Registration cost will increase to $200 after May 3rd.
